Can you imagine a blend between Reese, Mr.Big and Crunchy chocolate bars??? Well, there you have it!! These crunchy chocolate peanut butter balls are exactly that! The best of them three together. Tasty, crunchy and sweet but light at the same time. We could eat them all the same day. Almost impossible to stop when you start. They are easy to make and they will please everyone I swear! Jean-Félix was like a kid on Christmas morning HA-HA-HA

Hello loves, it’s been a while since I put any recipe here. Sorry about that. We were busy at preparing our trip to Bordeaux. As it’s a long trip, about 3 months, it was a lot of preparation. Now we are perfectly installed in Bordeaux so I won’t let you down anymore. I swear! To be forgiven I go with sweet treats here! HAHAHA I know how to be forgiven… Right?

These little things are absolutely fantastic. The way they pop up in the oven brings a huge smile on my face and lots of child happiness in my heart! I don’t know if you have any kids but as both of us are, I can promise that this is the perfect recipe to make with them! They will love to sit in front of the oven window and watch them change. It’s exactly what we did. HA-HA-HA What??? Don’t judge … I told you … we are kids.

This bread is totally amazing! As polyvalent Zucchini is, this bread is as well. Sometimes I just eat it as a dessert, but I also use it during dinner or even as an appetizer. It goes perfectly with cheese, little pate or with a cozy winter soup. I think it’s the way I prefer this bread. You know … a garlic soup, old cheese, little pate and this amazing zucchini bread! OK I’m drooling on myself now! I will finish this post and will make all of this for dinner right away after. HA-HA-HA This is totally me … can’t talk about food and not going totally starving.

At first that recipe was for as lemon squares … But some raspberries caught my attention at the market so I decide to make lemon square in a different way. I thought they would simply look and taste fantastic as pies topped with fresh raspberries. I was right! Raspberries and lemon is such an amazing paring.

When I bought this embossed rolling pin on Etsy I was very eager to receive it! I mean, I love butter cookies! I have plenty pastry cutters to shape then according to my mood but this little thing … it seemed next level! I let you judge by yourself but to me, it really did the trick. The prettiest butter cookies I’ve ever made 😊 Oh! Did I mention that it came with a recipe? I usually don’t try the recipes found on the back of a box but I had a different feeling about this one. I was right. I didn’t change a thing and it was PERFECT! So with no further ado, here it is.

When Sefra and I announced our friends and family that we would start a blog about food and cocktails, many asked us if we would do cocktail and food pairing. Even if I think that sometimes cocktails can be great friends with food, I honestly think that wine is so much better. Bottom line, my answer to this question was “no” unless I really feel for it and guess what? Today I feel for it.

I’ve already talked to you about Paquita and my family in Spain remember? This amazing recipe of Croquetas? Well, this one is from Paquita as too! I’m so happy and lucky to get these authentic recipes from her. It’s Celia and Gemma, Paquita’s daughters, who sent me their mom’s recipe. It is simply great! They are Sister to me and I love them more than I can say. They’re still feeding me even if we are far by sending me these recipes involving and evoking all the taste and flavours of Spain … my lovely home. They’re all there and I’m in Quebec. We are not together right now but when I close my eyes and take a bite, I feel like they were here with me and I feel the warmth and the love. It helps me to wait until the next visit.

Stuffed donut is one of my favourite things in the word. Every time it’s a surprise. You know the kind you are choosing but you never know how it will really be inside. But I love them no matter what as soon as they are fluffy, soft and sweet! I had stuffed donuts in so many places in my life and honestly I think that I like them all. We always have a favourite in everything though.

This was my first real pie. Oui oui… No bullshit! I know!!! I’m impressed myself. HAHAHA! Just kidding! For real, it was just a try. You got to believe me, bakery is far from being my comfort zone. I’m learning one step at the time, one recipe at the time! I’m truly starting to love baking. Bakery requires discipline. You must follow the rules which was my main concern. HAHAHA! I usually cook with my heart, I season little by little, one bite at the time to adjust myself. So I’m always out of line and I don’t follow any rules. It took me a while … and many fails to figure that bakery was totally different. Every single pastry recipe is a new step in my learning experience and I’m so happy to share it with you! Oh! And I must say that I still mess up sometimes and have to throw a whole recipe away. Don’t judge, sometimes it’s better to fill up the garbage bin than poisoning someone LOL It’s part of the game! Don’t give up if one day you screw up a recipe. It was just a bad day and tomorrow will be better. Sometimes even if we don’t understand WHHYYY … it happens. LOL!
