This week marks the end of the first year for Truffles On The Rocks and, of course, the start of the second one! What a year it was! So many achievements, so much work and, of course … lots of fun. It’s what matters the most in the end … am I right?
The day I fell for Paul Marius was an amazing day. We were just getting in the beautiful city of Montpellier in France. We arrived by train in the evening, and we checked in our Air B&B. It was a lovely loft at “La Place de La Comédie.” Every time we get in a new spot, we always run to the window to see what’s the view like and this time, something different was there! It was in the building in front of our loft in such a cute little pedestrian street. This gorgeous handbag. Black and gold, not too big, just enough … you know… Perfection! It was love at first sight but it was out of reach … the store was closed.
I’ve really been missing my family lately. Almost all of them live in Sweden and I don’t have the chance to see them a lot. I love them really bad! When I go to visit, our favourite thing to do is, of course, to practise Sweden’s national sport… FIKA!!! HAHAHA It consists of sitting for hours, having one or ten coffees and bakeries. Can’t get any better.
Surprised to see my name instead of Jean-Félix as an author in that cocktail section? That’s because I needed to talk to you about that place. As you already know, Jean-Felix is a bartender, and an AMAZING one. He got me really picky about cocktails. As I’m used to drinking what he does for me all the time, I’m not easily impressed anymore when I go to cocktail bars and this, no matter where we are in the world.
I think Rome is one of the most romantic places in the world to fall in love. I was there when I totally fell for that smell. Rose Jam … what a lovely name!
